Download Backup Software
The Williams Backup software interface is very similar to a standard Windows Explorer layout, making it very easy to find and operate specific functions. In this interface, you can also select several backup options that make configuring your file uploads much easier, such as the scheduling feature and the file filtering ability. With the backup scheduler, you can configure the exact time you want your system to upload any changes to their servers. You can also determine how often you’d like the software to perform these backups. The file filter option allows you to choose specific folders to backup and even individual files within the folders. Additionally, you can choose to only store files with a specific extension, or to block all files with a predetermined extension (back up all .doc’s or ignore all .avi’s, for example).
Online Backup
Williams Online Backup service allows you to backup as many computers as you desire on one account. This allows you to protect and restore files for any of your computers, either as a whole in the case of a natural disaster or individually if a hard drive fails. These files can be accessed from any device with the Williams software installed and an internet connection.
Local Backup
The Williams Online storage solution also provides integrated local backup software that will make storing your files on local media such as an external USB drive simple and efficient.
By adding a physical drive locally, you can avoid taking hours restoring your files via the internet if a hard drive should fail.
As another way to circumvent the extensive upload times for data storage, you can send Williams a physical copy of the data you’d like to back up on a hard disk.
We use this data as a “seed” for your backup, allowing the system to simply modify the pieces of the files that have changed since the last update, saving you days to weeks of transfer time.
